Tübingen Erbe Run

17th  September 2023

We celebrate our 30th anniversary,

celebrate with us and join in!

Late registrations are possible online without extra charge until one hour before the start of the competition.

The run started life in 1994 as the Tübingen City Run and was renamed the Tübingen Erbe Run, after the main sponsor, Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH,  in 2012.
Moreover, after 30 years, the basic concept of combining popular sport and elite sport has been retained. There is something for everyone in the events designed for different target groups and ages.
Our passionate and creative organisational team make this event an unforgettable experience. Get a taste of the unique atmosphere yourself. Get moving now and secure one of the coveted starting places.

Erbe Run New Social Partner 2023:
BruderhausDiakonie und Insiva GmbH

with the bike station at Europaplatz

The new bike station will open on July 28, 2023. There, customers can take advantage of services related to their bicycles. Small immediate repairs, a bicycle washing facility and numerous parking spaces are offered. In addition, there is the possibility to rent bicycles and to get information about bicycle tourism in the region.
The two non-profit, social sponsors, the BruderhausDiakonie and Insiva GmbH, jointly operate the bike station.
As a diaconal foundation, BruderhausDiakonie is committed to the participation of people with support needs in Baden-Württemberg. In Tübingen, the training association opens up career prospects for young people who previously had no chance of training.
Insiva GmbH aims to combine inclusion and professional work. As an inclusive company, it employs 40 percent people with severe disabilities.
In the wheel station, jobs and qualification opportunities are created for people who have no or difficult access to the labor market. This gives them a chance to participate in society.

Every time you pass through the donation gate in Mühlstraße, you support the bike station with your donation!

The Team

Organizer and host

The Tübingen Erbe-Run is organised by the University of Tübingen and its Institute for Sports Science (IfS) in close cooperation with the host from LAV Stadtwerke Tübingen.

Students have been involved in the organisation of the event, enabling them to gather initial practical professional experience in the conceptualisation, planning, implementation and evaluation of a sporting event.

Involvement in the event can count towards grades for Bachelor students in their key qualification modules at the university of Tübingen (minimum 5 CP to a maximum of 10 CP). Get involved with the Organisation team!

The helpers

Without the tireless involvement of the many helping hands who work together and contribute significantly to the success of the event, the Tübingen Erbe-Run could not take place.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank every past and present helper most sincerely, most of whom are from local Tübingen associations and many of whom have been with us since the start.

A sincere THANK YOU to the LAV City Works Tübingen, the Post Office Tübingen, the SV 03 sports club, the Tübingen “TSG”, the “RV Pfeil” Tübingen, the Pathfinder Entringen, the Family and Mother centre in Entringen, the specialist clinic in Tübingen, the Geschwister-Scholl School, the Wildermuth Gymnasium, the Uwe Jansen Cabinet maker company… and every other individual we haven’t mentioned by name!
