Travelling to the event

As a result of the event taking place, there may be some traffic congestion as Wilhelmstraße and a part of the old town are closed off for the Erbe Run. If travelling by car, please note the traffic direction signs and use the Park & Ride facilities or public transport.

Race timing

Race timing is carried out by mika:timing GmbH. A transponder is integrated into the rear of the starting number. A time measuring chip (on the shoe) is thus not required. There are mats for the purpose of measuring times in the start and finishing line areas, so please be sure to run over these, otherwise your time cannot be recorded.

Donation gate

The Tübingen Tafel e.V., the joint social partner of the Umbrian Provencal Market and the Erbe run, would very much appreciate it if you could run through the donor gate in Mühlstraße. Participation in this is voluntary! You can run through the gate once on each lap and in so doing donate €5 each time (i.e., up to €15 for three laps). Donations are processed subsequently by mika:timing GmbH.

Can I take part in both the Erbe Run and the Virtual Charity Run?

Yes! And in this way, you can lend your support to two organisations.

Where does the donation I raise go?

  • All kilometers covered in the internationally designed Virtual Charity Run have to be submitted online and in return the main sponsor of the run, Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH, donates 50 cents for each kilometer to the international social partner DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS.

  • Those who take part in the Erbe Run locally in Tübingen on September 17 and 18 will automatically donate their kilometers to the regional social partner, the Tübinger Tafel - Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH will also donate 50 cents for each kilometer. In addition, the runners can generate a donation to the Tübinger Tafel themselves via the donation gate.

The larger our community, the larger the donation. Join in!

Helper team

Please follow the instructions of our team of helpers. They will be wearing helper shirts with the inscription “TEAM”. We would like to send a big thank you for the many voluntary helping hands present on the day without whom the Erbe Run could not take place and who make a significant contribution to the success of the day.

Medical care – German Red Cross ambulance service

There will be numerous paramedical staff from the German Red Cross (DRK) present on the route. The DRK station is situated in the clubhouse at Wilhelmstraße 30 (diagonally opposite the assembly hall (Neue Aula).

T-Shirts

Toilets

Please use the toilets in the clubhouse at Wilhelmstraße 30. There is only a limited number here. Therefore, there are some more mobile toilets at the entrance to the old Botanical Garden in Silcherstraße.

Results lists/certificates

The results can be accessed online. The link will be available on our event website’s welcome page after the run. You can also use the link to print your certificate off yourself at home. It is not possible to have your certificate printed at the event itself.

Are there shower and changing facilities?

No, there are no facilities at the event to shower or change. We would ask all runners to arrive in their running gear and be ready to go.

Drinks station

You will receive a free drink from our official drinks partner in the area around the finishing line in front of the university library (your start number acts as your drinks voucher). Because of the works in Anlagenpark, there is no drinks station on the course.
